Nicole Tay

Lead UI/UX Designer, Product Designer

I majored in Information Systems at the National University of Singapore and completed further studies in Management Science & Engineering at Stanford University. I started out in visual design at the precocious age of 15, and my enthusiasm for UI/UX stemmed out of my frustrations as an end user when encountering poorly designed mobile and web applications.
I tie in form and function together to construct something that looks good and performs brilliantly. I always think about how to delight my users in my design. In the recent years, I have been creating sleek and simple visual solutions for complex problems involving big data, data visualisation and heavy technical information. Check out my recent article on medium regarding “How to improve copywriting in your User Interface“.
I am based in Singapore, but have worked with clients from all over the world, including in the USA, UK & India.

My other passions include, Yoga, Language Learning (I speak Mandarin & Japanese in addition to English), and girlie things like makeup.
